Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
|
In a difficult time for all voluntary organisations we have maintained our output and searched for new funding. We are researching the changes in Government Policy and continue to seek where we fit in now. Further success in our Mental Health Service User’s group with good outcomes for clients. New work researched – A group to support parents of children engaged in Deliberate Self Harm and a Healthy Eating group. Staff training in new fields. 50 children helped through On The Right Track this year with good results. Special needs work developed through SWANS, WASSP and the ADHD group giving support to parents previously isolated.2,866 children reached with the Puppet Project with a very wide range of topics in their Personal, Social and Health education in their schools with good results. |
