The end of year accounts to
Funding is an ongoing task and long term support from the Tudor Trust, the Children’ Fund/CIS Grant has given a lot of stability to the work of Families Matter. Tudor Trust has supported us for a number of years and due to the unexpected Children’s Fund extension of funding, Tudor Trust agreed that we could suspend the drawdown of their year two and three funds for a year which was very much appreciated by the Trustees and has again enable stability to be maintained. We will recommence drawdown of the Tudor Funds in September following our report to them. Families Matter finances are in a healthy state but funding bids are still being completed for other aspect of the work we do.

The Trustees of Families Matter made no claim for expenses during this year.
Many of you will know that Cornerstone, Hythe United Reformed Church which Families Matter is part of, have an outstanding loan on the new building of just under £80,000. This new building is providing excellent facilities community and Families Matter is one of the main users of the building for their work and any financial help you are able to give towards this loan repayment would be very much appreciated.
